New pipe for the WR - FMF Speed - lots of pictures
Another update on the blue bike
Just picked it up today, FMF Speed. Great looking pipe and the fit is excellent! On with the pictures.
Sweet box lol

OH YEAH!!!

Pipe mount

Nice welds on the mid pipe mount

Factory comparison, a lot shorter...

I wonder which one flows more Hmmmmmmmmm...

Mounted shot with side cover off

Side cover on

I love the shorter length of the pipe compared to stock, it doesn't stick a foot out past the side cover! Here's a shot of the stocker to show what I mean...

I'll have to get back to you on sound and performance as I'm waiting for the high temp silicone to cure, and more importantly, I'm waiting for my 170 main jet to come in!

I see a plate, is that dual sported?? I wonder what kind of miles you can put on that?? I know that as far as the Japanese Hi perf four strokes go, that has the most reliable reputation, Id just be a bit leary of ti valves and such!! Good luck, as far as Japanese 400 4 strokes go, that would be my choice (as the KLX450 is as yet durablitity untested, and not much info as to whether it will be the powerhouse uncorked that the WR is)
Wow awesome looking pipe (grin) what caught my eye was what appears to be a serial number or manufacturing date on that FMF pipe?I wonder how many other manufactures put that on their pipes?
My FMF pipe has nothing like that that I can see..

Thanks guys
Yup, sure is!
Had the bike out for a short run tonight, sounds awesome and it flat outrips! Comes up in 4th no problem now just rolling on the gas, no clutch needed. It comes up in fith with just a bit of body english. The bike is now complete for me, meets all my expectations. I don't think I will ever be able to use the bike and it's power to it's full potential, but all that power sure is sweet on those nice fire roads..I love it!
