Nope, just for any given amount of twist you are pulling twice as much throttle. The effort to pull is also doubled but it's no worse than cracking open all 4 carbs on my dad's V-65 Magna.

You'll just need an easier to reach eject button

I'm pretty stoked to try mine...didn't ride after i got it all put together due to my gas tank issue. I think i might just get some gum to plug it up for 20 minutes so I can take it for a rip.

Yep, its a pretty amazing upgrade that really gets the bike going..

I was down in the Pine Barrons on Saturday dialing in the throttleand I think thatphrase "Hole-E-Crap" fits!!

As my friend said, " youused to gradually speed away, its likeyou just disappear now..."

Reminds me alot of my CR125R kick on the track, rounding a turnjust before the next jump, and having to crank up the speed fast.......the big plus is that I can now unleash speed almost instantaneously and make a jump out of about any whoop, bump, rise, etc..... Really increases the fun factor on the trails as I'm airborne alot more......

As soon asI felt like I had some control on the throttle, I took it into some of those tiny single track lines (yeah the ones with the tight trees....) to see how it would handle..It definitely takes a bit more finesse then the stock throttle called for, but its still very good and can get you moving fast when the straight-aways show up....

My friend tried riding it and... lets just say he is expecting his new Vortex throttle in time for next weekend's ride... Its that different.....
