Hole-E-Crap!
Just installed the Motion Pro quarter turn throttle, and thats the first thing that I said after I fired it up. I highly recommend a "trial" period while you get used to the action of this thing. Just to refresh your memory I'm running street treads presently. Doing laps around the yard just barely any pressure is required to maintain cruising speed. Crack it a touch and it busts the rear end loose and shoots to redline! My driveway is hard packed sand and large gravel and when running around 5000rpm if I cracked the throttle it would loft the front tire easily, and thats with the stock carb, anyone with a pumper better friggin hang on! Coming up to the driveway running slowly around 2500 rpm, as soon as I hit the dirt, if I blasted it WFO it would launch and then when it came into the powerband around 5500 the front tire would just climb, as soon as I hit the grass it would drop as the rear was spinning, grab a gear and hold it sideways across the yard howling! Coupling a crack of the throttle with a small tug on the bars, brings the front tire up NOW! Mind you this is with stock gearing and street tires.
So far this has been the cheapest most effective mod I've done yet. Not that it changed the power but its the easiest to feel the change it made. To be blunt, its Nuckin' Futs! I did discover that its not all aluminum like the adds say. The cable cover that has Motion Pro on it is plastic, same as the other one that was posted that shattered when they flipped their bike.

It's a universal model and I got it on e-bay, just search for Motion Pro and Vortex. The main e-bay seller that has them lists them with brand names first, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, etc but its all the same item, I asked before purchasing. I bought mine Tuesday and had it Saturday, he has a very short turnaround time if you use paypal. If you've got wrap around handguards, the endcap on the throttle tube just pops off. However I did find that my grips were a bit shorter than the tube. I have about a quarter inch of plastic tube sticking out beyond the grip, I could have cut it off flush but its a bit chilly out and I had to take it for a spin ASAP.
Damn! Sounds like fun, but I reckon that thing would have me on my *** the first time I took it out on the tarmac in the rain.
Bwaaahhhhh....WHAM! Ssssscraaaaape.... "F**k!"

Yes, stock cable works fine, you just remove the "push" cable. The throttle control is the same as the oem, there is no ramped cam, it just has a larger overall cam, no surprises anywhere. If you crank on it the same as you do with the original you will be clawing the sky though. Unless I get a really good position on the throttle, the most I could manage with a quick wrist snap was half throttle, now that same motion brings it right to the stops at full throttle.

Keep in mind that the above tire is not going to get much grip on semi frozen grass anyway. On the hardpack and pavement it sticks like glue.
