Helping Jerry with Four Stroke Works

Helping Jerry with Four Stroke Works
Anyone who lives near Hesperia, California has a rare opportunity to help Jerry Leighton fit some parts to a KLX 250S. He is looking for someone who will loan him a bike to fine tune some fitment on things like exhausts, carbs, shift stars and more. As most of you probably know, Jerry is the fellow who worked with Larry Roesseler on his winning KLX's.
If you even think you might be able to lend a hand, or bike as it were, call Jerry at 760 948-0325.
Let him know you saw this post so he will know the context of your call.

RE: Helping Jerry with Four Stroke Works
Just another plug for Four Stroke Works. I guess we don't have anyone near Hesperia. Too bad. Jerry would most likely work something like the guys at Utah Cycle did on the skid plates, for anyone willing to get a bike to him.
Oh well. If there's nobody nearby, it's a moot point.
Onward then.

You're right, Bryan. I forgot about that. Dang. Well, that's that then, unless someone smuggles on in to him.
Thanks for touching base anyway.

Jerry has reached the status of Legend in the KLX community. If I was nearby and still had my KLX, I'd do it just to pick his brain for half an hour. I'm sure he's forgotten more about these bikes than most of us will ever know.

Here in the middle of the US, we're lucky to have Bill Blue too. He is doing wonders with these bikes as you know. And he has two to work with. I'm looking forward to his stainless steel brake lines next.
