Default Help from the suspension gods.

09 KLX250s 130 geared up, can someone tell me an idiot proof instructions on how to set the front forks and rear spring please? If you have a setting that would work that would be great!

Thank you.

Sag should be 30-35% with you on it. Look at the manual and google sag, there may be gobs of ytube videos too!

Yep, as far as excellent, understandable, general suspension knowledge and adjustment goes, Bruce's Suspension info is about as good as it gets. It helps you really understand why you're performing certain steps and the results you should get instead of just twisting ***** and clickers.

OP, if your KLX is stock, you can use the manual's instructions as a good starting point for the number of clicks on the fork and shock to suit your weight, riding style, terrain, and preference. Between Bruce's Suspension guidance and the manual, you should get something workable. However, the fork in particular usually requires revalving to get really good results. At your weight, the stock fork spring weight will probably be satisfactory.
