Does it run at all? What putbinoot said above is another possibility. Have you messed with the keyed ignition switch?

 

Yes, explain to us, when it was running & how it ran. What did you do to it just before it stopped running?

 

The spark seems to be very faint and seems to be firing too much if that makes sense, instead of firing just at TDC it looks like it is firing constantly. The ignition has been pulled apart by previous owner but bike was running after I installed another CDI just not well, it used to start when it was cold and then not once it was hot now it will not even pop even with Aerostart. What wires and what size resistor are you supposed to install maybe that will smooth out the spark.

 

If you are getting a spark I would say the resistor is ok, if it was not you would not get any spark. i also had what looked like a poor spark which was the result of the spark gap being to small mine should have been set at 0.7mm-0.8mm make sure your plug gap is set correct. Does the plug get wet with fuel if you try to start it for to long.
