Thanks IDRIDR for the picture. Mine either is not the same as yours, or you cut some material where indicated below. The recess shown with the red arrow prevents installing the device towards the front so that it clears the sprocket. I'm using a 46T sprocket so I would not need an extra bracket like you if I could use the frontmost holes on the swingarm attachment point.

So, do I cut that extra material or do I return the part? Your advice is welcome.

Call them. My first on-line order provided me the wrong stuff. Show them the photo and describe the problem. You may have an incorrect part.
I don't recall cutting any material, but that was a while ago. It does look like I may have drilled a hole.

Thanks for the advice. I assumed previous errors would not come again, but...

I can't find a phone number on their web pages, so I'll email them first. We'll see.

That part is correct. I was sent the same one. It fits but I believe with only a stock 42 rear sprocket. That notch rest against the rear of the tap. If you go bigger on the sprocket you will need to trim the notch on the guard and move forward to another set of holes.

It's good to know. I was on the impression that even with a 42T sprocket the part would not fit. But you may be right. However, given that IDRIDR did not have to trim the replacement part he got (at least according to his memory), it looks like a mistake they are making over and over...

I'm minded to trim mine also rather than return it.
