Friend selling her klx
Sorry to much to read. Prove your crap, just perform some sort of a test to see if it’s better than stock and post it up for all to see. You know confirming evidence? Or is it just fake news?
Next year I’ll get a klx to modify JUST to see how this all pans out. Since no one else will
You know one thing that was hilarious my friend got asked why she bought a CHICK BIKE since she rides a husky te450 and a harley 1200 sportster to work! Hahaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

I remember in the 70s when I was in school. There were all kinds of 12 second cars on the street, back when pro stock was in the 9s. In the street racing some would win, some would lose. The funny part was if/when they actually hit the timing lights, timing lights do not take start reaction time into account, only shifting, those 12 second cars oddly enough seldom broke 14s. There was still one uncontrolled thing there too - shifting. One friend was running brackets with his 283 4bbl Powerglide 57 Chevy. He got through a couple rounds running nearly on dial in shifting manually at 7000 rpm. He got a bit excited doing so well and made the mistake shifting at around 7200 rpm - broke out! So even the controlled distance between the timing lights don't cover all the variables.
Based on Hot Rod and other automotive media, the only unbiased test is what you trumpishly say is "fake news" - the dyno, used in one gear pulling from a predefined rpm to a bit past red line in many cases. Clearly Hot Rod, numerous other media, and most race teams deem those numbers - not just the peak one, but all of the chart - to be the real news. They don't rely on street racing, bragging, or any similar endeavor to be proof of performance. They know it eliminates variables. The true put up or shut up is the dyno. They use it in their engine building competitions, not on-ramps.
When push comes to shove, the motorcycle media do the same. They will also comment on power delivery and rideability as well. Where the power is and how useful it is. So maybe we need to take your test to the track and see which one really has the best power, go same rider timed laps.
Of course I'm still in Ohio and don't really care. It's rotten weather out and nothing better to do at the moment, but try to figure out why all the car and motorcycle magazines don't use on-ramp testing since it is apparently the only "real news" in tracking of power delivery.
