Nice pics of the Husky - the jury is still out on the orange stuff :-)
Huskys, Pentons, Maico's, CZ's .....those were real men's bikes back in the beginning!
Hope you don't mind if I add some pics to your thread that I took back in '73 at the Atlanta AMA motocross. Bunch of Huskies running back then...

Thanks for those pics, kmac, those are great! After having actually ridden the Husky photo'd above, I can't imagine the ***** it took to ride that thing at the speeds those guys did. The one my buddy got is a 400 and it felt like it could get you into trouble real quick, especially with the suspension of the day. Amazing.

What a wierd expansion chamber on that Husky. And it actually snakes its way around to the meet the muffler on the other side of the bike. Bizzare...
Glad you got some riding time Nobrakes. Some of us still are recovering from the snowstorms from a few weeks ago.

Yeah somehow I don't think that pipe job is stock. 
Supposed to look something more like this:
I feel for you guys with all the snow. You must be going nuts. We're actually getting a little bit here right now, supposedly a couple inches by morning. Strange weather. But the last few weekends have been great. Including the weekend riding at Kmac's place, I've been out three weekends in a row. I've got this Saturday lined up as well to ride with a buddy who's going to pick up a new to him 300 XC-W, then I'm taking two days off work next week to get in my hare scramble training regimen, haha, then I'm signed up for the season opener the Sunday following. I need all the seat time I can get.
