A few Pics.. WARNING no dirt!
Headed into the mountains for awhile yesterday. The first stop was atcoffee/tea shopwhere I normally sit outside and have some java and a snack while enjoying the view. It takes about an hour to get there, with excellent twisties on the way. The area is called 'Tashiro Plateau.'
The viewfrom my outside table. You can see a hint of autumn, but not as much as I was hoping to see.
Working my way tohigher altitude, I found some of the crimson I was looking for, but I guess it's a bit early for the usual light show. The colors get pretty dramatic. I was probably about a week too early. This is from a place that translates to 'hell's pond.' Not sure what inspired the name, but itseems a bit ironic.
Apic at the edge of the pond. There is a constant mist on the surface and a slight smell of sulfer, so I guess you could stretch that into its seemingly undeserving name. I'll be back next week if the weather permits. Gotta catch the autumn light show before what is predicted to be a nasty winter.
Man, I coudn't resist getting off subject once Isaw this in my photo folder.I think Nobrakes might need to pick one of these up. It's a Huskvarna but at least he will be color coordinated. Mmmmm, lawn mower eye candy!

Just dumb luck It's amazing what you can capture when you're not trying.

Nice Tremor, is it just a coincidence that the lady was bending over into the van?

Beautiful, I love Japan this time of year. If that's the area that I remember we use to go skiing nearby when I was detached to Misawa AB.
Not much better then a crisp day and a warm Royal Milk Tea out of the machine.
