Just on the headers on the 450's. The 450's put out a lot more power. So these headers might help smooth out power. But on the 300 i dont know how much it would help?

When I made my headpipe, I tried to replicate the KLX450 headpipe at first. The problem I ran into was that the "droop" was right in front of the oil filter cover - I would have had to take the headpipe off to change the oil filter. If I raised the droop up but kept the same length, it stuck out way too far and would hit my leg. I finally gave up and made it like the stock headpipe, but with a larger radius on the big bend, making it about 4" longer than stock. I used 1 1/2" OD stainless tubing.

Thanks! I'm running a Supertrapp IDS2 muffler and mid-pipe for a KLX300. Back when I made the headpipe, only Four Stroke Works made an aftermarket headpipe, but theirs was painted mild steel. I wanted stainless, so I made my own.
