I'm suprised he lived as long as he did considering the beating his body took.

Too bad he passed on - he was truly one of a kind. Big ***** and big falls.

Was just watching some of his jumps on youtube - crazy stuff.

Good grief - I remember when this incident happened and thought, "heck yeah". Crazy how it's 30 yrs later and the knucklehead is still pursuing damages - and it aint even been a week since Knievel died. Gotta love people.

This photo link below is a remake of the SST Evel Knievel Dare Devil Stunt set made by Matel in the mid 1970's.
I had one as a kid and I grew up in Japan.

As a kid I idolized Evel along with OJ Simpson; both proved themselves to be sub par human beings in many regards but one thing that nobody can deny is the fact that Evel Knievel had a wheelbarrow load of steel *****.
