I got stumpy legs and also always have boots on so mine is adjusted further down like above.
That is me. 6'4" tall and my length is in my legs. The KLX is my daily rider (I commute to work on it), so most of my riding is in normal boots. I could adjust it down some, right now I have to lift my foot a bit to get on the brake lever. Wearing MX boots and sitting forward would require me to adjust the foot controls down a bunch. I might even need lowering relocation brackets for the foot pegs. I am still getting settled into the bike, so I haven't been making a lot of changes yet. My KLR650 had these Knight Designs foot pegs and the lower pegs, a taller bar plus a tall Seat Concepts seat made for a very comfortable riding position for me.
