Don't pinch your tube on your rim locks. Make sure you coat the entire tube with baby powder, the inside of the new tire, and the rim lock. Rub it all over the tube and rim lock to keep those surfaces slick. I like a dry change, No windex or water or anything. Little bites at a time. Before you do anything, loosen your rim lock and break the bead on both sides of the tire.

Thanks actually jhoff22 because the bike I was practicing on was a dirtbike with rimlocks. I'm not doing the klx until I learn how not to pinch a tube. Eric I might have to try puttin them on your way because that's actually the only way I could get them off. I also think the problem might be I wasn't thinking and just ordered stock size tires. Rear is 100/90/19 front is 90/90/21. These thing r so skinny I can barely get my fingers or tire iron in to do any work.

I just did a set of skinny dirt bike tires this past week. I had some difficulty getting the tire irons in too. What I did was carefully took a long flat head screwdriver and stuck it in and pried the rubber away from the rim and then stuck the tire iron in. This helped immensely. Just make sure you are careful around your tube. This is the best way that I have found.

Use the Kenda or other heavy duty tubes, not only do they last longer but they are so thick that its nearly impossible to pinch a tube. They are like 4 times thicker than stock tubes.
