Hey guys lately I have noticed that when I come down in gears I can hear a sliping noise (coming from the front left hand side near the front sprocket)...........Now this doesn't happen all of the time its very random. I'm thinking it might be the clutch. Also I can hear a slight squeek coming from the front wheel of the bike when rolling in to park sometimes, could this be dirty brakes?Any suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance.

Mine makes noise all the time when I am stopping. I think its cause of the pads. Also maybe the clutch making the slipping. Start with the clutch. Since its cheaper. Its like less than $50 for a new set of discs from www.bikebandit.com or www.denniskirk.com

I know this is a dead thread but, On mine i have the same brake noise on the front,, I inspected it and everything is fine. so i assume its just pad/rotor noise.

 

I'm pretty sure its pad rotor noise on mine to because in neutral, I hear the same noise when I roll my motorcycle.
