Default BRP Triple Clamp TCA-5610 (for KLX300R)

Will the 2007 KLX300R top clamp fit the 2007 KLX250S? I'm tall and need a little extra height. Some 1 1/8" bars would be nice too.

It'll probably fit just fine, but you know you'll have to wrestle with some fitment for controls, no lock, lights, etc. It's all doable but for that price I think I'd find another way to get a taller bar/grip fit.

Cheaper, faster to install, but not as blingy...work great, btw.

I use the same item with 1.5" rise and it works great-pretty crash resistant as well...

Consider ATV bars, highest Renthal ATV is 4.4" rise.

Renthal also makes a high enduro bar in their off road line that is 5.5" rise. I would venture to guess the stock bars are on par with the average MX bar at around 3.25-3.50" rise. Fairly low in comparison to the Enduro or ATV bars.

Look at the charts to see what is what. A whole lot cheaper than risers even at $79 a set. The rise allows more area to clamp on things like hand guards, GPS holders, etc. too.

Yeah you are right. Just went out to the garage and the stock top clamp is shaped to hold the ignition key. Looks like the riser is the way to go.
