My bet is that back in the 70's you weren't as **** as you are now and most things probably looked OK to you.
You'd likely throw darts at that old grey Baja tank if someone handed it to you now.
Nothing personal, we're all getting a bit more spoiled now I suspect.
I remember watching some of them way cool old TV shows back then...............I can't sit through 5 minutes of one now........except CHiP's that is.

I had a idea on the Acerbis tank, chime in if you think Im nutz!
Picture this....
A fuel hose comming off the petcock inside the tank.
Have a Y connector, then two lines going toboth sides of the tank. Use something on the end so that they pick up from the bottom, that way you get all the fuel from the right side of the tank.
Im sure someone can improve on that. Personally Im really liking the Acerbis tank. I couldnt give a crap if it's ugly, its got range!
