Default Bike is in the shop...valve cover gasket

It's been in for 24 hours now...first time it hasn't been in my driveway. I hope the 'lil guy is OK.

Can't wait to have a valve cover gasket that doesn't leak.

I ordered an iridium spark plug in the meantime. I'm hoping it solves the intermittent highway stutter, though I know I should probably try upping to 132 dynojet main first....blah...

I'll let you know if it was covered under warranty and if they said anything about the superglue.

Bike runs like a champ though...the power upgrade is addicting. Will Bill Blue get his new kits tested and available before Christmas?

Just an update. Kawasaki paid for the gasket replacement and labor. All covered under warranty.

Good to hear. I'd be worried if they didn't though. BB is said he'd be dyno testing that kit pretty soon. That would be cool if he released the figures.

Hmm, how long does the factory warranty cover? I've almost got 5K miles and coming up on 6 months. Mine leaks like a siv.

My 09...No Leaky

Ive gone over mine atleast every 1000 miles to see if anything is loose...When I first checked I was suprised...Especially the triple clamp areas....

Reminds me I had my valves checked and never checked their torque settings since...

Standard warranty from Kawasaki is 1year/unlimted mileage. You can also get 2yr, 3yr, 4yr extended warraties.

Pretty sure it's a year. I'm not sure on the mileage though. I have an extended but I think it doesn't even kick in yet.
