Yeah, your exactly correct. I added the extra 1/2 inch in length, but then it was too far aft and would interfere with that bolt hole in the case. I cut it and bent it forward to try and get it closer to the original spot where it pivots. Unfortunately I won't be able to try riding with the new clutch arm until spring since we have 6 inches of snow here and the temps have been in the single digits. I took have the Keng engine clutch adjustable aluminum clutch arm, but I have two spare klx engines on the workbench so I figured I'd try to modify a stock one. I'll definitely post results after I get a ride.
