Do not buy one of those cheap Chinese battery's- Stick with a name brand

 

Interstate makes a good battery. But then again, I'm still on the orginal Yusa battery.

As for battery maintainers, you could always build a solar powered battery charger and box. And keep all your batteries charged through the winter and recharge those other batteries when needed.

 

I think I am going to look into something like Deej's setup. I have the same charger. Looks like all I need is a mount and the cigarette adapter. It would be nice to have that style jumper cables for when the battery does die in urban settings.
