Granted, the ZX9 has bit different physics than a KLX, but those inexpensive Shinko's (Raven 009) I installed last fall are wearing like IRON. FWIW.
If you ride like GP, then spend like GP.....

Which size TMII do you put your rear? the 110/100 or the 120/100?

I use the 110 most of the time. Except this last batch I ordered 100 by accident. Still good though.

Thanks......I am having a bunch of fun....

I got a whole bunch of throttle response......I twist.....it jumps. Before it bogged down.......I had to feather the clutch and jimmy the throttle to keep it alive. Starts easier......comes off choke quicker. Sure feels like more power.....I can raise the front easily now where before it was way hard.

And oh yea........it's loud too......lol......may have to try to taper that down.

Big bore......I mean you're right but that can be said of the difference between any 250 and a 350......right? I ran that bike up a couple of hills and a track of trail that I probably had no business on.......lol.......and I think I was only limited by my tires and my lack of ability (maybe I have that backwards).

Again, Im not the rider that many here are........and I can sure see some of the benefits my old DRZ-E had too.

Mods are in my sig.

I have a DEP pipe. They're big in Europe, and just starting to gain a name in the United States. It's pretty much a straight through pipe, but dB is on par with the Q4. I had it jetted with a DJ116 prior to adding the pipe, and that was per recommendation from Mike at DynoJet. Yeah, I know that sounds lean, but I'm riding at 4,700 to 10,000+ feet above sea level - that's why I asked DJ for a custom setting for my altitude. Anyway, that was before the pipe. After the pipe, it had a dead spot between 6k and 8k RPM. Again, I asked DJ what to do. Mike recommended going to the DJ120, which I did. That eliminated the dead spot completely, and gave me smooth power throughout the entire range. It also dropped my mileage by a full 10 MPG!!! You'd figure all that fuel would produce *some* extra power, but I cannot notice any difference from when I just had the air mods and the DJ116 in there.

Anyway, I'm going to be trying out some more mods on the DEP, and the stock pipe soon. I'd like to either make the DEP quieter, or open up the stock pipe a little to increase exhaust flow. I'll be trying the DEP mods first, as that pipe is SEVERAL pounds lighter than the stock one... a definite plus for keeping the DEP on there.
