I saw this video! I probably would have killed the driver of that car. looked like it was for no reason at all too.

My wife is from Mexico - this accident actually happened on the streets of Mexico City a few months back.

The story is that the guy supposedly fell asleep and rear-ended the bikes.

One of the bikes was a famous soap opera star or singer - I forget which - in Mexico. The others were his pals/costars something to that effect... total of 6 or 8 bikes I think. Anyhow - they were filming some stuff for a video or tv show and had multiple cameras in multiple chase vehicles filming from all angles.

After hitting, the driver was filmed on his cell phone talking calmly with someone. He was arrested and then set free a couple days later after paying an $8900 fine for the injury of one and the death of 2 others. The politics and corruption in Mexico for police and the legal system makes Capone's days here in the US look like child's play. While the average salary of "middle-class" Mexico City is 15k USD a year, it is still amazing that no capital charges like involuntary manslaughter, etc were even brought to bear. To my knowledge there has also been no civil action, as civil court in Mexico is by and large a bigger joke than criminal court.

I might also add that none of these riders were wearing helmets or any other protective gear. Most of them were wearing windbreakers.
