i got a 500r motor and trans i got it on my banshee ok the problem the starter kick over but wont start the motor it just spins any sugestions[sm=bounceybounce.gif]

check for fuel, spark, and compression. with these three you should atleast get it to stumble or start.

 

i got sparkand good fuel i might need to drain the bowl and clean them out also the big starter gear is it supose to be welded to the bowl and magnet thing the thingis that i turned a corner and it cut off on me then it wouldnt start back up then after that it made that free spin noise

ok i took it apart and i got spark and fuel i cleaned the carbs now it all back fires out of the carbs is there a certain way the starter stuff goes for the timing

 

ok so its spittin out the carbs? I never worked on bikes b4, but sounds like the timing is off

 

k i found out what was wrong the flywheel keeper broke so i got a new one does any body know how to time the ex500 motor
