the bike dropped to the floor ,no i wasnt riding it , long story now it wont start when you turn the key all you hear is noise coming from the starter. i was wondering if because the bike dropped the starter broke i dont know i checked for loose cables i checked everything and nothing is loose. so i figure i might need a new starter anyone else have a similar problem ?

hmm, so it doesn't crank at all?? That's kinda odd. My only suggestion was going to be to check your plugs. I dropped mine while avoiding running into my ex's truck and it wouldnt' start after I got it back up; I'd fouled out all my plugs. Good luck!

what kind of bike do you have? we need more details on your bike? you might want to try turning the key on and off three time. a tech told me it resets the tilt sensor.

THere are mercury sensors for tilting and such the bike wont start if they sense it is not standing up. you may have damanged one and it my need to be replaced. I have heard of plugs doing that. and just check for loose cables
