I'd be boring and pressing better bushings in then. That is messed up.

Check out the top of this page and sue yourself for vibration white finger!!! Seriously though could you not insert a shim to take out the slop?

you might be able to use a nylon washer like used when bolting on powder coated parts, could work.

I always keep 2 fingers draped over the levers anyhow - so if mine were to buzz, it wouldn't bother me
