Tank guards

Hope I'm in the right place? Does anyone know how to remove tank skins without taking off the paint? Idiots at dealer put them on crooked, [:@]

try heat on it.. a hair dryer or actual heat gun ( if you have one) tends to make the glue pliable enough to move them around..

juust be careful not to heat em up too much.. they'll curl or shrink,then you'll be screwed..

+1, Leave it outside in the sun for a few hours, go to napa and get a heat gun, heat them badboys up, and pull em off, get some remover and remove the excess stick

couple things to getting the glue off is wd-40 or something called uni solv sold in the medical field, it wont mess up the paint.

Hey,Thanks guys,you've been great,will try it as soon as get my bike back from the shop. Having Hotbodies undertail exhaust put on.

Sorry 4 being late,anyhow,got the pad off(heatgun worked great)Pics are up in photo gallery,been on vacation, and of course the weather sucks for riding.off and on rain,little sunshine.but summers almost here .will have time for some nice coastal rides on Rte 101 or PCH.
