oil question

CAN ANYONE HELP? I THINK MY BIKE IS LOW ON OIL BUT NOT SURE. WHERE SHOULD THE OIL BE AT IN THE SIGHT GLASS. I CAN SEE IT WHEN ITS STRAIGHT BUT NOT WHEN IT IS PARKED. i AM STILL WAITING ON THE MANUAL TO ARRIVE.

caps off you're hurtin' my ears!!! you should be able to see it when the bike is straight up...is this the 250???

put the ride on the center stand if it has one, or keep the ride level (straight up as mentioned). 1/2 up the sight glass for the oil level.

I think I posted this a day or two ago: If you have to ask, then change your oil and filter! Replace with the correct amount of oil (not 4 quarts if it says 3.75) and look at your sight glass on level ground. Yes; probably the exact same outcome of what Drag recommended above^, but eric, there is nothing like direct experience to make the information stick.

When you look at the site glass, if you see little gremlins peering out at you, drain your oil immediately
