Default Fixing fairings

I just got some spare fairings and they have some holes in them. What are the cheapest and easiest ways to fix them?

Welcome to KF 08zxrid3r

I have had good luck melting abs shavings into an MEK solution in a good lab squirt container. Apply the liquid/melted solution in a prepped fairing. Works pretty good.

Yes. There's a product called "Plastex" which comes in small packages that does the above. Costs about $25.

www.rideout plastics.com has data sheets on industrial adhesives. "Weldon" is the name. I only had to repair cracks and the stuff I got was applied to the crack (spread apart) , brushed on with an artists paint brush allow to spring back together held it for a couple of minutes and didn't use the bike for a day or so. Drys pretty quick. I went to a plastic sign maker in Brisbane and he sold me the stuff. Backing would be necessary if you have an actual hole in the fairing and you need to know what the fairings are made of so you can obtain filler material.
