hi i am new to the forum my 1983 kz has a charging system issue. with the engine at hi rpms i struggle to get much over 1 volt above batery voltage any suggestions?

There is a way to check your regulator. I will look it up when I get home and get back to you tomorrow. In the meantime I think its under your battery.
