I wonder how my rex would do??

 

I have had my 07 z1000 for 5 months now and I am pretty impressed with it. The speed is outstanding and I love the sound, but I don't think it handles well enough to stay with the r6. If you don't plan on going around to many curves I would say get one, otherwise I think you might be happier with something else.

 

I am also thinking about getting a Z. 07 leftover, price is right but just from sitting on it I can tell the tank will be squashing my nutts and the seat is hard as hell.

Thinking it will be different from riding it but don't want to find out thousands of dollars later.

Kickass looking bike though. It a streetfighter that I havewanted. But I have had other streetfighters and for some reason the seats are always uncomfortable. Even with the gel seats. Maybe its the more upright seating position that forces more weight down on the seat.

Or I might get into a meanstreak but don't exactly hear great things about it either.

Those of you that own the z1000 is there a handling issue that I hear about in all the reviews. Like the front end is unstable in turns.

I can't help but want this bike but don't want to be unhappy with it as I have been with other bikes that I have wanted.

 

I'm actually looking at the 08 ,my dealer would give me $3000 for my zrx and they have one instock and OTD for $7999. My kawi card is empty,I paid the klx off in less than a yr so I may just keep the rex and get the z alsoI would love to take one out first for about an hour though to see if I actually like it
