I saw the previous one at a dealership and for being a 1000 the bike is tiny! I couldn't believe how small it was both in length and height. Admidettedly it is pretty dang cool!

When I saw the pipe, it reminded me of the hunting guns from the 1800's with the huge bell on the end Otherwise its it's a pretty nice bike. Maybe Muzzy makes a pipe for it. (deej knowingly inserts the word Muzzy hoping to get something going hehe)

Actually the "NEW" Z1000 is a better thing.
The ZX-10 motor was detuned and placed in the new aluminum frame will make it a "Fizzy Eater" for sure!
The older Z1000, which had a reworked ZX-9 motor in a perimeter steel frame was not a bad ride, but this one will be so much more fun and a whole lot more motor!
Now, the subject of the hideous exhaust arrangment. The good news is this - just think of the weight you will save when you install a single lightweight can, tune the FI with a Power Commander and now the bike is a true beast! I'm thinking about 150 rwhp for the bike without much work.
Now, that's some serious wheelie-making power!
