i FINALLY got the fork seals fixed on my '98 today. i built a rack for the hitch on my truck with a kickstand pad so i can load and unload it myself. so i loaded the old tank on the rack at 8:30 tonight and wanted to go and TRY to stunt for 15 mins atleast before it got too dark. i got to my "spot" (never stunted there before, just looked like a good spot) and there was a ball game going on and there were a dozen cars or so. CRAP!! maybe tomorrow, i STILL haven't really got to stunt this thing. hopefully soon

 

i basically wanna just do slow standups and sitdowns. that's the first goal. we'll see where it goes from there

 

are there any stunter areas around where you live??? When I was in Cali my friends that stunted actually had a legal area to stunt at...they had arrangements with a local company that was off the beaten path to use their lots after 6 PM and that the company was not liable for anything...it was a signed contract with all the individuals running the stunts...kind of cool of them...the state cops would stop by from time to time just to watch the stunts...never got harassed...

i sucked it up and stopped in and asked a lady today if they minded if i ATTEMPTED to stunt while there was a little league baseball game going on. she said it was fine. i mentioned to her that if anyone gets upset to just let me know and i would bolt. so i unloaded the bike and away i went. i did bring my vid cam but i was too embarassed to get it out infront of people lol. i haven't really ridden that bike in 2+yrs so it was a bit awkward. but i did get her to stand up close to bp a couple of times. too much air in the rear tire i THINK, cause i was really wobbly sometimes. tryin to get her up from a very slow speed. but i saw a cop go by on the hiway so i bolted lol. i didn't wanna get pinched. i will aske during the day sometime when there is someone there. it would be nice to have written consent so you don't have to worry about the fuzz. p.s. even if you've only been riding for 5 mins, watch out for the rear rotor when ur lettin air outta the tire....ouch lol.
