Just get your CCW, then you can make a bad situation much worse!

Hey, I like how you handled it * admire * However, you should file a police report on it. I say that because like others said she may go target the next biker she sees and fileing a report on her (( Such as a attempted murder / volunteer attempt )) that if she did (( hopefully not )) kill a biker the cops would see
A: Tickets she may of recieved earlier
B: Your file on how she almost killed you

So she will serve longer in jail. You may have to buy her a new paint job for her car, however. I strongly advise this because the person that killed my brother had only two tickets and haven't found out how many years he will be serving, but we were told only about 2 years due to the fact he only has two tickets.

Happy and safe riding

sorry to hear about your bro. my OPINION is that you should do whatever you want if someone almost kills you. bikers will always have a bad name to cagers and cagers will always have a bad name to us. we drive cars also, what if we hit someone in our car, that would suck. what about the guys that ride wheelies , what if they **** up and wreck and cause some old person to wreck. the only way we will get respect is to not drive bikes on the road. even if we drove like senior citizens people would still stay that we are bad. last night it was about 50 degress hardly no cars on the road and it was night. im in left lane driving about 50 mph , i have H I D headlights so you can definately see me and 2 dip****s pull out of a side ride and instead of pulling in the right lane they pull out in front of me and i had to almost do a stoppie, i got pissed but for some reason i didnt get mad. sometimes people deserves breaks sometimes they deserves getting there BONES BROKE by my fist. if you ride a street bike EXPECT someone to cut you off. so dont worry to much, i get cut off in my car ALL THE TIME. but if you feel they just risk taking your life, LET THEM KNOW in however you feel you should express it. hahah thanks for listening to my opinions

i was almost hit too on my 3rd day out, fortunately i looked in the cagers window and seen that neither the girl driving or her mom even noticed me and stopped. i stopped in the middle of a semi-busy road because i knew i didn't wanna get t boned on my new bike lol. i'm probably the worse kind of rider tho, i'm more concerned about them messin up my bike than me lol but i guess that works cuz if they don't smack the bike they don't smack me huh? after losing the first love of my life i know what it feels to lose and i definately don't wanna do that again!

when i drive i know how it is and make sure and give bikers AMPLE room to move around and be safe. when i pull up behind or in front of a biker i try to give more than enough room for them but still stay close enough to them that some other idiot won't think twice about pulling in front of them and cutting them off. now that i have a bike too i use my cager to protect the other bikes on the road as much as possible by being that cager in front or behind them.

it could have been worse. I am sure she wont forget what you did, and I personally think she will take that into acount next time she drives. I only rode for ~3 months, and I have a ton of stories too. Ppl are stupid, and do not pay attnetion. My only stain came from an f350, lifted; trying to come over on me as I passed him on the freeway. That sucked. 52hp ftl. lol.

I would have to agree with posters who are against this type of behavior. Retired LAPD and you never know who is in the car behind you as you express your anger. In California you will see time for such behavior. There are always the drivers who will cut off other drivers no matter what they are driving. I will have to say, after 22 years on police bike, that many times a driver will see a motorcycle and turn in front of them. One survey several years ago stated the size of the bike vs car impacts the drivers ability to access speed, etc. We even have drivers turn in front of Officers bikes. Just remember, you are going to lose in contact. After years of riding you will be surprised how you can detect a driver about to make a move. Watch his actions in the vehicle. He will tell you he is about to make a move. As far as lane changers. This will happen and is not always intentional. Bottom line...........In the face of ignorance you must rise above. Hope I never make a mistake and find you with a hammer breaking my car window. I am usually armed and will defend myself from the maniac breaking my windows for reasons unknown to me. Time to take breath and enjoy life. Shake it off and enjoy the ride.

haha, i hate a*s holes like that. closest ive ever came to sompething like that was with one guy i call mr.hitler, he almost messed me up real bad back when i had my xr80, it was my first bike and my mom wouldnt let me ride on the trails, so i cruised the streets of my neighborhood. anyway, i dont know what the f*** runs through the crazy old jerks head but he somehow decided it'd be a good idea to get in his buick lesabre and shoot out of his driveway just as im coming up on it, his house is on the end of a pretty long street, maybe a 1/5 of a mile so i was already at top speed when i got to his driveway (55ish) so my fully developed 10yo. reflexes sewrved away from the tank of a car and almost into a mailbox. i slowed down to see what was going on and i see him get out of his car and start screaming profanies and waving his arms around like a cartoon charecter. i went home and parked my bike in the back woods thinking that he'd find it. and then went inside.

over the years ive been getting back at him solwly but definitly good, from thrashing his lawn on my z400 to putting napalm all over his car so it singes the paint off. what you did was completely rational and honestly, i would of gone even further[sm=lildevil.gif]
