Went for my 2nd bike ride ever yesterday with my buddy (who rides an '06 GSXR 1000) andI've only taken my rpms to about 5 grand max so I had never really felt the true power of the bike. Well, we pulled up to a false interstate (4 lane highway, fyi no on/off ramps makes it a false interstate) and I told my buddy to accelerate hard and that I would try to keep up. He said he was on his gas prety good and I kept right up. It was awsome hearing the rpms climb so fast and then shifting was so smooth it was just bliss baby! The windtrying to tear me from the bike and the noise all around me was just awsome! After getting up to speed my buddy turned around and flipped me a thumbs up for keeping up with him. Later in the ride we hit a highway that had some nice curves to it which I took at my own speed (much slower then my buddy's speed) but accelerating out of the turns was such a blast! I'm definately going to enjoy this bike!
