if anyone knows of any company thats makes big bore kits for 2006 636 that would be great if u could let me know because i have been searching for a while thanks.

 

Search the posts in the ZX6R forums. There are 2 companies that make Big Bore kits for the 636's. Wiseco is one and there is another. It will make it to 662cc's but you will have to re-plate the cylinders. http://www.dynoman.net/engine/pistons/kawa.html
I think JE makes piston kits also for the 636.

will the 03-04 be the same for the 05-06 motor. i thought that they were two diffrent motors

 

I think the pistons are the same but the cylinders are slightly different due to the windows the cut between the cylinders to reduce windage losses. The heads are different and so is the bottom end.

 

so they cant be used then. why do they only sell them for the 03-04 and not the 05-06

 

Get with these guys. They will build you whatever you want. Falicon cranks I didn't see any 636 parts, but these cats are about the best around. I've built stroker Hondas, and Kawis from their parts, and still have the Honda, and it still runs without issue.

 

Call them; I'm pretty sure you can put an 05-06 topend on an 03-04. HoweverThe 05-06 heads have Oval intake ports and you will have to get those TB's & harness and all.
