Default Present to myself

Hey, I was thinking about buying myself a handgun for my 21st and thought I would ask around to see what other people think before deciding on which one i want to get. Right now I think I'm leaning towards the Springfield XD Compact with a 5in barrel http://www.springfield-armory.com/xd.php.

Pitt Congrats on your upcoming 21 birthday.. Im not a big fan of the XD for a few reasons..

The finish on mine just plan sux.. I have to make sure I keep it clean or it will start to rust in a matter of days.. I have heard that they have improved on the finish but havent seen a new one..

The second reason and is my biggest grip it has a terrible trigger.. It has a really long trigger pull and a long take up.. Your follow up shots are hindered with the long reset also..

I posted a reply to another tread on this board about hanguns so I will put that link in here in case you missed it.. https://www.kawasakiforums.com/m_110.../tm.htm#110980 I hope I can help you with any question that you may have, just read my relpy to him and maybe that will help you also..

Safe shooting.. Or is that Riding?? Oh Im so confused.. Chris

I like the sub compact modelstoo, easier toconceal.Check out the glock 30 for the 45 and the glock 27 for 40 cal. Both are very small.
