I bet the KBC's are not that much lighter if they are only $150. My HFC is the cl-14 and it wsa 150$. I went for a ride today the first time in like 6mnths, well only to wallmart but its like 15min away . It was so dead on the streets, I was just flying everywhere, man I miss riding. But the helmet sucks so bad! My head bobbles in the wind, so i duck under the sheild all the time. Then I stopped at the gas station and some dude was like sweet bike. And Im thinking I gotta ride more!

I should invest in a suomi, they are so light. But im thinking either suomi or a pipe? Im still riding on the crappy stock bazooka tube, how do those cheap scorpian's sound.?


As far as the chiroprater goes BIGRIG, I already go 1x a week, you must think Im a noobie to pain.
Its so hard for me to sleep everynight from bodyaches, I took a percocet last night and still was tossing and turning. Man life can be harsh!

 

I had one of those $150 hjc's and bought a shoie and wow whay a diff. Paid 350 for it but it was worth it. buffering, vents, weight... all better then the hjc. Like ya FD I to suffer from neck injuries sometimes to a point to where I'm almost paralized and cant move, scary feeling. Anyways the helmant helped out a ton.... plus you wont have to get rid of ya bike, just save a few more dollars and buy a lighter helmant. my .02 hope this helps ya decide

 

Lemac so the Shoie was worth it huh. $350 not that bad, all the Suomis are like $500, or maybe I just like the expensive ones, casue they got all the sweet designs. A few wks ago i was studying for a few hrs looking down at my book and I started stretching my neck, like I brought it back all the way to where I was starring at the cieling(bad idea!), I couldnt bring my head back up, needed to use my hands. All of a sudden started getting these shooting pains. Basically, I couldnt move anymore, I was almost paralized like you say. I just couldnt deal with the pain. Luckily I was in South Fl where my step-uncles is a retired chriopractor, I shot over to his house and got a adjustment and a valium I really need to get the lighter helmet, I should just get all the top brands on a list, Suomi, Shoei and Arai; call them or look up the weight and BAMM!!! Then Id know what the lightest one is. however I have to much homework, not enough time, ill never get around to it.

 

That sux bro... Is there a stealership or some place you can go down there and try on different helmets?? Sounds like lemac suffers from a similar prob, and found a good helmet...

 

Ya but the stealership is trying to steal my S -H- I- T. All there helmet are waaay overpriced and the dont carry Suomis either, they said they suck, but they suck!!!!
