I recently bought my son a 2007 kx250f-the hot start lever was broken off but the cable was there along with the tit at the end to insert into the lever. We installed the small lever, but the lever will not pull the cable to activate the hot start function. The cable is frozen. I followed the cable down to the carb, but can't get my fingers into the small space to figure why the cable will not move, any ideas---------help:----------jeff @ jeffdille@comcast.net------PS ---don't want to force it for fear of damaging carb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

 

Didn't know there was a hot start lever, did you mean the choke? You could probably use a carb cleaning anyway, so I'd take the carb off check it and clean it out while your at it. While you have it apart, check the cable, it may need to be lubricated as well. Good luck, and welcome to KF!
