Default THROTTLE RESPONSE

I'm in 6th going about 110 then slowed down...dropped the gears and when i'm at the speed limit, i wasn't getting any gas from the throttle. so i pulled over for about 10-15 minutes..it started up and i'm getting gas from the throttle again. seems like it only does that when i'm riding hard. a friend told me it could be my fuel filter. any other ideas (alternator, starter)?

Check your screens and filters since that is easy to do. Then move on to your fuel pump if needed. It is easy enough to check your fuel pump operation withgauge. Your manual will help you out on this test as well.

If your filter is old it is possible it draw more fuel than the filter can handle and dry out the bowls, Without further information, I cant think of anything else to help you. Let us know how it works.
