Throttle Cable Twist "action response"?
I had my carbs off the bike and while hooking up the throttle handle & the cables, the handle don't snap back freely. I spent about 1.5 hrs. on it the first night, and now another 3 hrs. trying it again? I switched to another cable I have and same thing, throttle handle has a little drag. I greased the handle bar and lubed the cables somewhat, but it's still sticking. I straightened the cables perfectly when I passed them through the frame and around to handle bar.
Listenning at the dragging sound, it seems like it is coming from the handle? When I put the cables onto the throttle mount , it would fit perfectly together.
Also, if I put the (2) cables to the throttle handle and put 1/2 of the throttle assembly and operate the twist throttle, is flies back with no resistance. It's when the other half get put on, it drags.
I have it working where it it slowly go back, but not sure what's wrong.
New cables or throttle handle?
Any sugestions?
Thanks!

RE: Throttle Cable Twist "action response"?
Yes, I played around with the tension adjustment on it too, but it didn't seem to change anything. For the return cable, when it's tighter, does this possibly make it return quicker? I'm kind of new to the Kawasaki dual throttle setup, alothough I've gotten this to work a half dozen times before.
Thanks!

Yeah!!! That was it!
I adjusted the upper adjustment turn screw and it that did it. Man, I sure waisted a few hours trying to get that to work?
I'll have to "Note" that in the manual for next time.
Thank You
