Default evap problems zx7r

I have a 96 zx7r. One of the hoses that comes from the gas tank and ends up under the passenger seat sprays fuel all over everything when I accelerate with a full gas tank. I know I can't plug, what can I do? Any help is appreciated.

Are you over filling the tank?

Welcome to KF!

I fill the tank till about 3 inches from the top. I did read in the Haynes Manual about a separator to prevent the charcoal canister being saturated with fuel. I think I need to get my hands on one of these. Thanks for the welcome.

I just plugged it. I thought that would vacuum the gas tank and kill the engine, but haven't had that problem at all.
