RE: evap / emissions crap
no links.. but look up the "kleen air mod" on this site or another site and get some ideas.. i'd tell ya how to do it, but its an ancient chinese secret.[8D]
nah.. i played with doing the mod myself, but had a bad sputtering issue, and just put it all back together for a rainy day project.

kleen air mod =/= float bowl mod ?
This Somewhat shows how to remove emissions crap:
http://www.jonesisland.com/7r/motor/index.html
This is for float bowl mod which is worthless without rejetting I believe:
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/webzxr/.../ventbowl.html
The whole point of it is so its easier to rejet

RE: evap / emissions crap
ok, my 1st sync helped alot for
low rpm bogging then after awhile it
started bogging again at low rpms.
I thought what can it hurt to do the
kleen air mod AND float bowl mod.
I figured it would've made it worse doing
the float bowl mod but it did'nt
My bike fired right up in 57*F weather (after being completely COLD).
Ran better & better throttle response.
I think its just masking the problem like a bandaid but am happy that it is not running as bad as it was. Am glad to get rid of excess Junk!

RE: evap / emissions crap
got caught up in being happy the bike was running good that I forgot to ask:
The negative vacuum hoses (2) (they split / merge into 1)that hooks to the silencer / vacuum valve crap. I'm wondering what to do with those. If you plug them it dies. If you leave them opened.. they have no air filter.
