I've got an 07' ZX6R with Two Bros V.A.L.E slip on, and power commander.... took to to bike night at the local drag strip tonight and my first pass was 12.223et at 115mph... after i got used to launching it i mananged a 1.81 60'ft, .5054 light and went 11.41et at 124mph... i was happy for my first time racing!

sounds like you had a pretty good night. I'm sure you'll get your times down if you keep going and you'll learn right where to launch your bike at.

 

Take it to a track that involves turns. It is about 10000x as fun.

 

Thats pretty good taking almost 1 sec off your time just with the launch.

damn 11.43 with a .5054 light.. is real good.. because thats not really a good reaction time.. so to still run 11.4s is awsome..

reaction time is not equated in the 1/4 mile, you can sit there for 5 seconds and then go if you wanted. there is a little sensor that when your tire breaks the line the clock will start.
