Anyone have a stock front BT014 in good condition; hardly used/ abused?

 

Where do you think the pirelli diablo's rank with the PP and the qualifiers.. When I bought my bike it had a brand new set of them on it.. Just curious.. Safe riding.. Chris

 

I've never done a track day, but I have a few friends who have. A couple of them swear by the Pilot Powers. They wear well and they usually get a couple days out of them.

The race tires do take longer to warm up. That's why you see tire warmers on them when they are in between sessions.

Don't know about all Kawi's new models, but the ZX14 came out with Bridgestone 014. I've heard good things about them. I sure hope they are a better tire than the 020's they came stock on my ZRX's. They are a sport touring tire, but I found them to be a little too hard for my preferences.

 

Depending on tire profiles and setups.
The diablos are a good tire, I have seen higher tire pressures in them to not get to greasy on the corners.
The PP's are also a good tire. More triangulated front leads to a "fall in" on corners. But people rave about them also.
I set up on a 120/70 and 190/50 qualifier for the street. Slower turn in but does well at 32psi front and rear. Yes they weigh more than the PP's
