i believe that's when you're rich, running lean should pop on the gas and idle (i THINK...)

 

I guess I'm fine because the bike sounds perfect especially with the new Leo Vince.

 

so it runs fine now? with filter and pipe?

it won't backfire if it's only a little lean, so you could be making less power even with the mods if it's not tuned right

 

I'm glad to hear that you got it running. Ever figure out what it was? It will sound a little raspier and you will get a little lean pop/ misfire if it's too lean. Usually with a Slip-on you should be OK. Try it with and without the K&N & stock filter and see which it runs better with.
