I tried two meters, 1 analog and one digital and they both came back with the same result.

Try a new battery or have it load tested. That 10 minutes is too soon for a battery to drain.

After sanding on the plastics I realized that there is no way I can try to put a "nice" paintjob on this fairing set.. They are way to rough. So I have decided to paint the bike with "chalkboard" paint so my kids can draw on it whenever they feel like it.. Should be cool. One day I will buy new fairings and give it a paintjob worth having, but in the condition it is in I think this will be a cool alternative.
Dang! why didn't I think of the chalboard aspect. May have kept them away with using the ball peen hammers!

edit: chalkboard

the chalkboard idea is genius, I am so having some kids do that to my bike one day

sounds like a good project, i'd like to get a 95 for my next bike, like the matte black look as well, may not be the fastest but it actually looks manly ooooo burn to the overly saturated colors!!!
