Default Full Exahust Advice

I just finished breaking in my 06' 636. I currently have about 3k on it. I'd like to get some opinions on some full exhaust systems. I'm looking at an Ak and TwoBro right now.

Why a full and not a slip-on? Unless you're racing, save your money for other stuff. Full systems are made for racing and are louder. They cost twice as much also.

Hey speed I agree but some people just crave all the hp they can get. I have full system and it’s great, you will want to change sprockets so you can regain the loose of power in the low and mid range. Yea that’s right, loose of power; the exhaust manufactures do not tell you that. As long as all the needed mods are done after the full system, like PC with custom remapping and sprockets you will enjoy the bennies of it.

Spending the cash on a slip-on and suspension tuning is a way to go as well and may even be better jmo

two bros is a slip on anyways. and its half the price of the ak. I really don't think you want to spend 1500 on an exhaust. but the 2 bros, get the pcIII, do a sprocket change, speedo healer and you'll be set.

I've got the akro evo ti and love it make fat H.P. the only thing is it's a little loud for the street.

The advantage of the full sys is the weight diff and you dump the cat so you can use leaded fuel.

usually when you take a exhaust and make it less restrictive, it looses SOME low end torque. I'm talking about like around 3-5k. I would get the pcIII with an exhaust and that would definatly make up for any low end power u lost. but on a 636 i'm not sure what top speed is, but with a -1+2 setup with speedohealer. the bike will top out at 155, fairly easily too.

on my R1 its 15/45 -1+2. It rocks. But if you still want to do 180 you wont. I have seen 154 on my speed and there was more to go so I am guessing I can hit 165 maybe 170. I am never up there so I will take the trade off for the extra low and mid.

But the low and mid are sick, 3rd gear rollon and almost nothing will touch it.

Notstock I gree with you if you're looking for maximum HP, but if you want all around performance, the slip-on in a good trade-off. Like you said though, if you make the other mods to go along with it, it'll work good.

I lost some low-mid topend punch when I removed my Race ECU because It also advanced my timing 4 degrees. I notice and miss the loss of the power I had. Bought an Ignition Module on ebay but it was mis-marked. It turned out to be for a CBR1000RR. Anyone need one?
