I have a -1/+2 and love the combo. The front tire is my biatch and can still hit 155. Along with gotrice I got mine for accel not wheelieing, which it will do on command if I so choose. Or I can keep her on the ground (mostly) if so desired during a hard accel..

Oh and see some of ya at the dragon in two weeks!!!

if you go a -1/+2 combo you don't need a new chain....If you go -1(front) no need of a new chain.... Just a +2 prolly need a new chain.... I am very biased, I had 1500 miles on my boke before I did my sprocket change... My chain was stretched and it wasn't an issue, if you are going to do only one mod do the front.... The physics aren't needed to get into, but if you go down in the front you get more accel, if you go up in the rear the front comes up easier. If you do them both, then the bike will do what YOU want it to do. That is once you learn your bike again.

The 90 bucks is for both sprockets which is a diy project... Our bikes (05/06) come with the 520 chain on em stock...

I just picked up my second bike a week ago its a black '06 636 and have really enjoyed breaking it in so far for the first 300 miles. I am 6'4" tall and i too am going to have to lower my levers, it seems the front brake lever is the one that bothers me. The suspension seems pretty stiff but really pays off when i put it into a turn, the handling is awesome and the brakes have really impressed me. So far i'm really liking the tires as well, my elbows and shoulders are a bit sore after some agressive riiding.
