First drag run
It should be easy to gain that extra 2 tenths for a 11-sec time. Are you speed shifting or using the clutch? By speed shifting, I mean keeping your foot under the shifter with a little upwards pressure and when it comes time to shift just blip the throttle real quick and up shift to the next gear, no clutch needed. I still use the clutch for the 1-2 shift because it's easy to go to nuetral but speed shift the others.
Also what rpm are you launching at? I like to bring it to about 6000 and ride the clutch a little until I can let it out without bringing up the front. You could start at a higher rpm and ride it a little but I didn't want to glaze my clutch.
If it wasn't for the track rule of needing a leather suit for anything over 122 mph in the 1/4, I could probably get a real low 11 sec pass maybe even high 10 with a good launch. I bet you can get that 11.9 with that bike.

What was your reaction time? That is what was killing me when I went to the strip. I pulled a best of 11:07 and 124mph with the 600RR.

i was using the clutch the whole time,
ill try again in about a month with a k&n filter and a -1 and maybe a +2 on the gearing
how much improvement will that make?
I have a 06 zx6r, my first time the strip i turned an 11.24 @ 123mph. Its all about the launch, I could not keep the front down. Next time i am going to lower the tire pressure and get up on the tank so i can launch harder. I made 5 runs, just could not get the start down. Ether I was pulling the front tire up or spining the rear to the 60' mark. By the way I live in Paradise CA and am looking for people to ride with.
sounds like fun!! im in the bay area if you wanna ride sometime shoot me a pm.

reaction time doesnt hurt your et. the timmer only starts after your tires break the line.
