Default decal question

Hello everyone,
I have a question regarding original decals. Whats the easiest way to get them off the fairings without scratching the paint?

hair dryer mid setting worked getting the plastics off. Thanks 95451! One more question, is there any chemical that i could use to get the residue off? I tried dawn warm water, and a good bit of elbow grease. It doesnt seem to want to come off. I thought acetone would be too abrasive and might discolor the paint. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

try adding a little more heat.
A bug and tar remover should be soft enough.
You can try a lite amount of a thinner on a rag.
But, to be safe on the bikes finish.
Bug and tar remover at your local auto parts.

Good info 95451. I use WD40 to get goo off since that is what I use on a prelim inspection.
